This wine is a blend of Pinot Noir, the majority, completed by Gamaret, Garanoir and Diolinoir. On the nose, the spices of Gamaret and Garanoir are revealed, then the fruitiness of Pinot appears on aeration. On the palate, we appreciate the Cuvée Napoléon III for its balance and subtlety, the result of the marriage between the silky character of Gamaret and the more tannic character of Diolinoir. The grapes are selected from several plots of Villeneuve. Traditional vinification in vats and in casks gives it fruitiness and suppleness.
